Legislative Affairs Committee
Overview
The Legislative Affairs committee concerns itself with educating members about about the ever-changing landscape of health policy. In particular, the committee focuses on health care reform, studying what has been done and changes that must be initiated in the future. One of Legislative Affair's largest events is Lobby Day in January, in which members travel to Sacramento to lobby for single payer health care.
